To earn a 3Com Certified IP Telephony NBX Expert certification, you need to demonstrate competency in maintaining and troubleshooting 3Com IP telephony solutions.

Follow these steps to become certified:

Step 1 - If you are new to 3Com NBX IP Telephony Solutions, it is strongly recommended that you complete all the training course material detailed under Step 2, New Candidate IP Telephony NBX Expert Study Material, before taking the IP Telephony NBX Expert Final Exam at a Prometric Testing Center.

If you are a returning 3Com Certified IP Telephony NBX Expert you should select the path in Step 2 that best fits your experience level. As an example, if you were certified within the last year and have installed and maintained NBX systems since that time, you may want to choose the Returning Candidate Path. If you were certified more than one year ago you may wish to choose the New Candidate path. Note that the source for all final exam questions is the 4 day NBX Technical Training for R6 Course.

Step 2 -  To refine your skills before taking the final exam, complete the course or course(s) that best fit your training needs.

Step 3 - Take the IP Telephony Practice Exam in final preparation for taking Final Exam (v3.0). Review any challenging topics.

Note: The IP Telephony NBX Expert Practice Exam should not be used as the only study tool for the exam. The practice exam does not represent the full breadth of questions that will be presented on the final exam, but instead a selection of topics that you should be comfortable with. Success on the IP Telephony NBX Expert Practice Exam is not indicative of success on the IP Telephony NBX Expert Final Exam.

Step 4 - (Required for certification) The Final Exam is available in a supervised proctored environment through Prometric. Schedule your exam today. Proctored Exam Fee - $150.00 USD.

Recertification
  • A 3Com Certification is valid for two years from the date you pass a final exam.
  • Recertification requires a passing grade on the current 3Com IP Telephony NBX Expert Final Exam.
