Follow these steps to become certified:
Step 1 - Become a 3Com Solutions Certified Associate
Review the steps for becoming a 3Com Certified Solutions Associate and obtain a passing score on the final exam.
Step 2 - Complete Optional Courses and Required Assessment Tests
The courses and tests that support the Expert certification are grouped into four areas of study. To become eligible for the final exam, you must pass the test in each area of study. You may prepare for the tests by completing the related courses.

Step 3 - Pass the Expert Final Exam
To access the Solutions Expert Final Exam you must pass four required solutions assessment tests (see step 2).
Note: 3Com Certifications are valid for one year from the date a final exam is passed.
