Introduce High School Students to Technology Careers
The secondary school NetSet program
is designed specifically for high school juniors and seniors as an introduction to the basics of networking. The program’s four single-semester high school courses are:
1. Networking Fundamentals
2. Local Area Networks
3. Wide Area Networks
4. Network Architectures
Each course, featuring approximately 90 hours of instruction, has been reviewed by a national advisory board of high school teachers.
Students completing the program will be eligible for independent industry standard certification and prepared for a career in entry-level IT or post-secondary technology training.
