3Com® Switch 4500G Now with Lifetime Software Upgrades and Phone Support

3Com is now offering Limited Lifetime Software Upgrades and Phone Support for all Switch 4500G units purchased between December 2, 2006 and August 31, 2007. During this time period, anyone who buys a new 3Com Switch 4500G Gigabit switch will receive enhanced service support for as long as they own their equipment.

This adds to the outstanding warranty and related services already provided with the 3Com Switch 4500G. Here is a summary of what the original owner of the 3Com Switch 4500G receives from 3Com:

• Limited Lifetime Warranty
  
• Hardware coverage for the whole unit, including power supply and fan.
  
• Advanced Hardware Replacement for the above lifetime warranty term. In North America "lower 48", this is next business day delivery when the request is called in by 3PM ET. Similar next business day delivery is available in European EU countries. In most other regions, next business day shipment applies.
  
• FOR PURCHASES MADE BETWEEN DECEMBER 2, 2006 AND AUGUST 31, 2007: Phone support for the lifetime warranty term.
  
• FOR PURCHASES MADE BETWEEN DECEMBER 2, 2006 AND AUGUST 31, 2007: Free software updates and upgrades for the lifetime warranty term.
