How do I connect my cable/DSL line to this device?
A:
The 3Com OfficeConnect Cable/DSL Secure Gateway does not have an internal cable or DSL modem. The gateway router is designed to connect to the Ethernet output from your cable or DSL modem. An Ethernet cable is supplied with the product for this purpose.

A:
The 3Com OfficeConnect Cable/DSL Secure Gateway includes all the security features provided by the 3Com OfficeConnect Cable/DSL Gateway, plus a full-function stateful packet inspection firewall for additional security. The 3Com OfficeConnect Cable/DSL Secure Gateway also provides VPN initiation/termination that supports the PPTP, IPSec, and L2TP/IPSec VPN protocols.
