Q:
How do you enable File and Print Sharing?
A:
Enabling file sharing on a PC allows other users in the same workgroup to access files and directories on that PC. Enabling printer sharing on a PC allows other users in the same workgroup to print files on a printer attached to that PC. You must enable file sharing for each PC that you want to access across the network. Similarly, you must enable printer sharing for any PC that has a printer attached to it.

How do I verify Network Connectivity?
A:
To verify connectivity among all devices on your network. To do this, you must have successfully installed the OfficeConnect NIC in each PC, and have correctly cabled the NICs to the hub. Make sure that each network device is powered on and fully operational.

How do I install the driver and configure each NIC in the switch?
A:
Before installing the software for each PC, make sure that you've finished connecting the hub to the NICs in all the PCs to be networked. Have your Windows 95 or Windows 98 CD (or diskettes) and your Networking Kit EtherDisk diskette ready.
