Important: This access point requires an antenna cable if the access point is used with an external antenna. For maximum efficiency, you should use the shortest antenna cable possible between the access point and the antenna. Antenna cables induce signal loss, which will limit the radiated power output as well as the range of the access point. Although 3Com has several cable options available, we recommend the 3Com 6-Foot Antenna Cable Product (Model: 3CWE480).

Advanced security features keep all your sensitive information safe and sound—just like your wired network. It handles plenty of simultaneous connections, so you don’t have to worry about adding more users to the network. And it easily integrates with your wired infrastructure because it supports multiple network management standards and applications. What’s more, antenna options let you expand wireless coverage up to 305 meters (1,000 feet).
