Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA), 802.1x authentication, and EAP authentication protocols all protect against unwanted network access. MD5 algorithm, AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) and WEP (Wireless Equivalent Privacy) shared-key encryption combine to protect the privacy of all wireless data.
