			Features & Benefits Management for Advanced IT Environments 3Com® Intelligent Management Center (IMC) Enterprise Edition is a self-contained comprehensive management solution, flexible and scalable enough to meet the needs of advanced Enterprise networks. This modular next-generation management solution— based on a service-oriented architecture (SOA)— allows for the integration of traditionally separate tools for the management of resources, services and users. It is available for Windows operating systems and supports the management of 3Com, H3C™ and third-party devices. IMC Enterprise Edition includes all the key functionality and modules needed to manage, monitor and control Enterprise class networks, including: Administration control Resource management Performance and event management Reporting VLAN management Configuration management ACL management Network traffic analysis Scalability and high availability is delivered through a flexible distributed deployment model. IMC Enterprise Edition is a client/server and multi-user solution and supports Windows Server 2003 and MS SQL Server 2005 Database. The management system is licensed on the number of devices requiring management (this includes any discovered IP address). IMC Enterprise Edition supports up to 200 managed devices or nodes; other additional node licenses can be purchased to augment this: 100 nodes (3CR15800A) 500 nodes (3CR15800B) 1,000 nodes (3CR15800C) 5,000 nodes (3CR15800D) Unlimited nodes (3CR15800E) IMC Enterprise Edition may be downloaded for evaluation purposes. The evaluation version is fully functional but is time-limited to run for 60 days. To remove the time limit, the software needs to be registered using the license key obtained by ordering 3CR15800. It is also available on DVD (3CR15800SW). Microsoft SQL Express is included for evaluation purposes only. A full version of Microsoft SQL Server should be installed when IMC Standard Edition is deployed in production environments.
