Annual Meeting
Annual meeting will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2000 at the Company’s headquarters, Building 5 in Santa Clara, CA.
Our common stock has been traded on the Nasdaq stock market under the symbol COMS since our initial public offering on March 21, 1984. On July 27, 2000, 3Com distributed to its shareholders in the form of a stock dividend 1.483 shares of Palm for each outstanding share of 3Com common stock.
As of June 2, 2000 we had 5,941 stockholders of record. 3Com's credit agreement permits payment of cash dividends subject to certain limitations based on net income levels of 3Com. However, 3Com has not paid and does not anticipate that it will pay cash dividends on its common stock.
This annual report should be read in conjunction with the company's Form 10-K dated August 2000.
